Former Prime Minister Noda expressed his opinion on 111-HAWAII PROJECT
111-HAWAII PROJECT participating organization, NPO Hawaii Senior Life Enrichment Association (HISLEA) president, Ryozo Sakai exchanged opinions on the culture exchanges between Hawaii and Japan with former Prime Minister, Yoshihiko Noda House of Representatives member at a hotel in Tokyo in November.
Sakai explained about the local revitalization & social contribution activity “111-HAWAII PROJECT” as well as the Made in Hawaii products that supports small-medium local businesses. Former Prime Minister Noda expressed “This is a nice project.” towards the project. He also seemed to have liked our character mascots “Diamond Headog” and “Diamond Headolphin”, as he took the stuffed animals of them back home.

HISLEA president supports Made in Hawaii!
HISLEA held their 11th Aloha-kai at Meguro Gajoen, Tokyo where members from both Hawaii and Japan gather together. Hawaii expert celebrities such as Mike Maki and Takagi Boo also joined the event, stoking up excitement. 111-HAWAII PROJECT introduction booth was also displayed at the event where PR activity of Made in Hawaii was performed.
