News Release #45 – “KUPU” chosen as charitable foundation for 2016!
Selected by Hawaii Tourism Japan
Bring dreams and hope to the next generation of Hawaii through education, and work on various programs related to environmental issues
To help lead the positive ecological growth of Hawaii, 111-HAWAII PROJECT donates a portion of all sales to local non-profit organizations. For 2015, our donation was presented to “Nā Kama Kai.” Undergoing multiple discussions with Hawaii Tourism Japan since January, we have finally decided to have “KUPU” as our charitable foundation for 2016.
KUPU’s mission is to “empower youth to serve their communities through character building, service learning, and environmental stewardship opportunities that encourage integrity (pono) with Ke Akua (God), self, and others.” KUPU brings dreams and hope to the younger generation by educating them through 4 programs, and working on various activities related to Hawaii’s environmental issues.
