February 8th 2019 Donation Presentation
A portion of the project's 2017 and 2018 sales were presented to the third charitable NPO, Nā Kama Kai

The 111-HAWAII PROJECT Office donated 2% of all the project’s 2017 and 2018 sales (1/1/2017–12/31/2018) which came out to a total of $929.38 to Nā Kama Kai, a local non-profit organization that focuses on ocean safety and conservation awareness for the next generation.

The donation presentation ceremony was held at the 111-Hawaii Award Ceremony on February 8, 2019. With the added donation of $3000 from the 111-Hawaii Award project, the total donation amount came out to $3,929.38 in total. The Japan Hawaii Travel Association representative, Hiroyuki Kitagawa, presented the donation to Duane DeSoto, the founder of Nā Kama Kai and also a pro surfer.

3rd Period Donation

3rd Period donation amount: $929.38

A portion of all sales of 111-HAWAII PROJECT products will be donated to local non-profit organizations selected by Hawaii Tourism Japan to help lead the positive ecological growth and environmental preservation of our Hawaii. *The charitable foundation is selected each year. The next NPO for the 4th period will be announced on the website upon being selected.
