We would like to hold a “Made in Hawaii Product #4 introduction event” on 11/20/2015 to celebrate our new 111-HAWAII product!
During the event, we will have fashion models styled in “Modern 50s theme” looks, provide unique Aloha Shirt style coordination ideas, as well as the little known history behind the classic Aloha Shirt. We will also be serving samples of our Made in Hawaii product #1 “Iced 100% Kona Coffee”, product #2 “Mamaki Hawaiian Herb Tea” and product #3 “UACOCO Crisps”. In addition, Akakura House, the boutique hosting our event, will have a huge sale on selected items throughout the store (111-HAWAII products excluded; please inquire within).

Introducing our Made in Hawaii Product #4
A truly classic reproduction using the same 1950 materials, color scheme, and production method. The only aloha shirt still made in Hawaii produced in these traditional methods, this “Classic Pineapples Aloha Shirts” is a jointly developed product with Kona Bay Hawaii.
The unfortunate truth is that most of the Aloha Shirts made today, are not made in Hawaii anymore. Kona Bay Hawaii hopes to be able to, “pass on a truly authentic Aloha Shirt, a representing symbol of Hawaii to future generations!” and this is why the only company that still produces them in the exact same method used back in the 50s has collaborated with 111-HAWAII PROJECT to bring a classic apparel item. This Classic Pineapple pattern was originated by a maker with the name of legendary surfer, “DUKE KAHANAMOKU BY CISCO”. The shirt was worn by an actor in the movie “From Here to Eternity”, which dominated 8 categories of Academy Awards. Having been used in a movie that represented the 20th century, it is no exaggeration to say that this was the most famous design in the world.
